Accessibility Statement
Last updated · 2026-09-14
Cogvast Nous Indonesia is committed to ensuring that cogvast.com is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We treat accessibility as a design constraint, not an afterthought.
Conformance target
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG defines requirements to make content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
What is supported today
- Full keyboard navigation of every interactive control, with a visible focus ring on all focusable elements.
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer) with a singleh1per page and a stable heading order. - Reduced-motion support: when your operating system requests
prefers-reduced-motion, the 3D hero falls back to a static composition and page animations are minimized. - Color palette tested for WCAG AA contrast on all body text and UI controls against the warm-canvas background.
- Contact form fields ship with associated labels, autocomplete hints, and programmatically-linked error messages announced via
role=“alert”. - The floating chat control keeps a 44 × 44 CSS-pixel touch target on mobile, meeting WCAG 2.5.5 Target Size (Enhanced).
Known limitations
We track the following gaps and are working through them:
- The 3D hero scene on the homepage does not currently expose an equivalent semantic description beyond the screen-reader-only headline. A textual narration mode is on our roadmap.
- Product photography does not yet ship with long-form descriptions suitable for readers relying on screen readers. Short alt text is present; expanded descriptions are planned alongside the shop launch.
- Bahasa Indonesia translations currently cover navigation, hero copy, and the contact-page entry point. Long-form pages (product detail, About, Lens, Nous) remain English until the Phase-2 localization pass.
Assistive technology tested
The site is verified against the current stable versions of the following combinations:
- macOS Safari + VoiceOver
- Windows Chrome + NVDA
- iOS Safari + VoiceOver
- Android Chrome + TalkBack
